Join the Carson City Fly Fishers for an engaging evening of fly tying. This month, we’ll feature a Lance Egan pattern called the Red Dart and a Black Ant, two classic summer patterns known to entice fish. The event is open to everyone, with all materials and equipment provided. Whether you’re a seasoned tyer or a complete beginner, all skill levels are welcome. If you’ve ever wanted to learn the art of fly tying, this is the perfect opportunity to get started. Please bring red and black thread if you have it.
The event takes place on August 13th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Adams Hub, located at 111 W Proctor St, in downtown Carson City, NV 89701
Please RSVP so we know how many materials to provide.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

This is a quick reminder that our fly-tying night will take place on Thursday, July 9th. Tim Kroetch will once again lead the session and demonstrate both the Pheasant Tail and Hare's Ear patterns. To make the most of our time, Tim will begin a few technical steps in advance so we can complete both patterns together. Please bring black or brown thread if you have it. This session will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive 5 minutes early for the setup.

To help us prepare, please RSVP if you haven't already, so Tim can estimate how many flies to order. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hello everyone, we will be having our fly-tying night on June 11th. Tim Kroetch will lead us once again. Tim will demonstrate a Hopper and Adams pattern. Tim will also start a couple of the technical parts to save time, so we can complete two patterns. I am trying to get a sense of how many will be attending, so Tim can estimate how many flies to get started. Please RSVP if possible. See you all there!
