We will be bringing in the golf team around 8:30pm. We will bring them down Buchanan St, on to the square, then onto Illini West High School. Please come up and show your support!!!

Today, our department is honored to stand alongside our friends at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office as they say goodbye to a beloved member of their K-9 family.

At 2:00PM today, a line of procession will take place in honor of this dedicated K-9 Cato who served our community. Our department will have a truck positioned over the highway with the American flag as a sign of our respect and support.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the K-9’s handlers, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside and knowing this faithful partner.

Rest easy, K-9 Cato. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

Access to clean drinking water is critical for keeping firefighters safe, healthy, and performing at their best, especially during wildfires and extended responses in extreme heat. Our first Light and Fight was a blast and we had 24 firefighters from 6 departments attend. It was a great day weather wise and everyone took a new tip or trick from the day. We couldn't thank Illinois Fire Service Institute enough for providing great instructors to keep bettering the fire service. Keep pushing forward and becoming better!
