First year harvesting honey from our hives, and what a sweet success it turned out to be. With an amazing team helping through the entire process, we ended up with 35 pounds of fresh, delicious honey — and that’s after dodging what felt like a full‑blown yellow‑jacket invasion. At one point it turned into a race to see who would get the honey first: us or the 100+ yellow jackets who showed up like they’d been invited. Shockingly, not a single person got stung, which might be the biggest miracle of the whole harvest.
We can’t wait to get everything bottled up. There will be a limited amount available if anyone is interested — and trust me, after surviving the Great Yellow Jacket Showdown of 2026, this honey tastes even better. It’s truly delicious.
