Call Directions

Magnolia Ambulance Magnolia Ambulance provides ALS ambulance services to seven counties in central Mississippi. The Carthage Ambulance Service, Inc.

has been in operation for over 20 years, serving Leake County, Mississippi. In January of 2008, LifeCare EMS was created as a division of Carthage Ambulance Service. We now operate in Leake, Winston, Newton, Scott, Noxubee and Kemper Counties and respond to in excess of 12,000 emergency and non-emergency calls annually. We strongly believe in being an active and productive part of the communities that we serve. We believe in hiring EMS personnel who are well trained and go β€œabove and beyond the call of duty” for the patients we are charged with caring for. Our motto has always been β€œwe treat you like family” and feel it is a God called responsibility to provide the best pre-hospital care possible for our patients.

πŸ’š Today is World Mental Health Day.

Mental health is an important part of our overall health, and taking care of ourselves and one another matters.

Today is a reminder to check in with yourself and the people around you. Take a moment to rest and recharge. Reach out to someone you trust. Start a conversation. And when you need support, know that asking for help is a sign of strength.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. In an immediate emergency, call 911.

Across the Priority Ambulance family of companies, we encourage everyone to look out for one another, today and every day. πŸ’š

HURRICANE ISAIAS: STORM SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

As Hurricane Isaias strengthens and moves toward the Gulf Coast, the Priority Ambulance family of companies encourages residents across potentially impacted communities to stay informed, prepare ahead and prioritize their safety.

While storm impacts may vary by location, heavy rainfall, strong winds, flash flooding, power outages and other hazardous conditions are possible. Taking a few precautions now can help protect you and your loved ones.

⚠️ HURRICANE & SEVERE WEATHER SAFETY TIPS:

🏠 Stay Informed: Monitor local weather forecasts, emergency alerts and guidance from local officials. Follow evacuation instructions if issued.

πŸ”¦ Prepare Emergency Supplies: Have flashlights, batteries, bottled water, nonperishable food, medications and other essential items readily available.

πŸš— Avoid Flooded Roadways: Never attempt to drive or walk through floodwaters. Remember, turn around, don't drown!

πŸ“± Keep Devices Charged: Charge phones and portable power banks ahead of potential power outages.

🌳 Stay Clear of Hazards: Avoid downed power lines, fallen trees and standing water. Seek shelter indoors during dangerous weather conditions.

🀝 Check on Others: When safe, check on elderly neighbors, family members and those who may need additional assistance.

πŸš‘ Keep Emergency Routes Clear: Avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather so emergency responders can safely reach those in need.

Our EMS teams remain committed to serving the communities we call home, especially during challenging weather conditions.

Stay informed. Stay prepared. Stay safe.
