Grab your running shoes or your bike, y’all! 🚴👟 The 3rd annual Panola Push Pedal Run is just around the corner, but there's still time to register!

👟 1 Mile or 5K Run/Walk — starts at 8:30 a.m.
🚴 6 Mile, 30 Mile, or 100K Bike Ride/Race — starts at 8 a.m.

🕖 Saturday packet pickup: 7–8 a.m.

Whether you’re out for a walk or ready for a longer ride, grab a friend and make plans to participate! Helmets are required for all cyclists.

✨Welcome New Member: Panola County VFW Post 5620✨

If you haven't caught them at our learning sessions or missed them at Potlatch, please join us in welcoming Panola Post 5620 to the Chamber family!

As the only VFW in Panola County, Post 5620 is focused on welcoming a new generation of war veterans and community partners while moving beyond the outdated perception of the VFW as simply a social club or bar.

These are servicemen and women who served our country during wartime — and are still serving our community and building families.

We’re excited to share this news because it offers war veterans of all ages a chance to find camaraderie, access resources and make a meaningful impact right here in Panola County.

Today, our community walked together in remembrance — 25 years after September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years have passed, but the courage, sacrifice and selflessness of that day remain just as powerful. Today was a meaningful reminder that even as generations pass, we have a responsibility to remember.

Seeing firefighters, first responders, families and neighbors fill the streets of Carthage was a moving reflection of Panola County: a community that honors service, remembers sacrifice and shows up for one another.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the lives lost. We still honor the heroes who ran toward danger. And we still stand grateful for the men and women who answer the call to serve every day.

Thank you to the Carthage Fire Department and everyone who walked, supported and helped make this tribute possible.

Twenty-five years later, we will never forget. 🇺🇸
