Today is Thankful Thursday and we have so much to share!
On Tuesday night, we had the pleasure of reading the National 4-H Week Proclamation at the Moore County Commissioners' meeting! Over a dozen 4-H'ers attended the meeting and spoke to our county commissioners about what they have been busy doing to Make the Best Better this year.
We are incredibly proud of all of our 4-H'ers, from Cloverbuds to graduating seniors, for the hard work and dedication they have put towards their 4-H projects. We could not wish for better young people to represent our organization!
We would also like to recognize a graduating 4-H'er, Vincent, who shared with the Commissioners last night that he will be leaving us soon to join the United States Air Force. We are honored to call him a 4-H'er, and we wish him the best during this next chapter of his life.
We have many thanks to give! Firstly, thank you to Moore County Government and Commissioners for their continued support of 4-H and Cooperative Extension. Thank you to Keith Walters, South Central District Director and Interim Assistant District Director, for attending and speaking on behalf of Cooperative Extension. Lastly, thank you to our partners at the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, Jonathan Lewis, and Linda Parsons, for coming to support our young people.
What we do would not be possible without any of them, and we are grateful every day for the effort they put into growing Moore County 4-H.
Happy National 4-H Week!🍀
