NC Senator Sydney Batch and NC Representative Maria Cervania will provide an update from the General Assembly
Get together with other Democrats from Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. Arrive at 6pm for an hour of socializing and stay for informational talks at 7pm. Every month we invited people making change in and around Wake County. This is a great opportunity to meet your local elected officials and candidates or other Democratic leaders!
If you want to order food, please call the restaurant ahead of time! We often have 40-60 people and orders can be quite delayed if they are in before 6pm.

If you're free tonight, Western Wake Dems has an exciting program! Professor Gene Nichols, a federal law expert, and Sen Lisa Grafstein will be with us to discuss the legal issues with SB 382. I expect he will also discuss what’s happening with some of President Trump's executive orders.
We will be starting our program a little early tonight because we expect our members to have many questions for Professor Nichols. If you'd like more information about his history, please visit his information page at UNC Law ( https://law.unc.edu/people/gene-r-nichol/ ).

This was an wonderful weekend in the Triangle. I was honored to volunteer at the Raleigh Rally for President Biden. Then I got the chance to canvass in Cary and attend the Cary Pride picnic. There was even an interlude to visit a Young Entrepreneurs Fair hosted by Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. Thanks to all the people making these events happen.

There are two amazing chances to meet candidates this Sunday! If you are concerned about education policy in the state you won't want to miss meeting Mo Green, the Democratic candidate to lead North Carolina schools. After that, Rep. Maria Cervania will be meeting her new constituents in Morrisville.
