Marbles has been gracious hosting the PNC Family School Partnership event. We've loved spreading the word about the need for more foster parents here and we'd love to talk to you too! We're excited to invite you to our Wake County Interest Meeting for anyone curious about opening their heart and home to a child in need. 💙

This session is being graciously hosted by the Poe Health Center, and it’s a great chance to learn about the foster care process, ask questions, and explore whether fostering might be the right path for you or your family.

Wake County is committed to supporting and celebrating our incredible foster parents, and one of the ways we do that is through our foster parent retention events. This past weekend, we had a wonderful time at the Alamo Drafthouse, where we invited families to relax, enjoy a movie together, and simply have a moment to breathe.

These events are our way of saying thank you for the love, time, and dedication our foster families pour into our community.

Mental health matters—both for our foster youth and for our incredible foster parents! We’re excited to join AKA Chi Rho Omega at their Mental Health Wellness Fair in Wake Forest, where we are sharing resources and talking with the community about how to support children in foster care. What an amazing recruitment event today at Mt. Peace Baptist Church! We’re excited to share that 30 people registered to learn more about becoming foster parents and making a difference in the lives of children and families in Wake County.

Dear Kinship Caregivers,

May is National Foster Care Month, and we want to take a moment to recognize the role kinship plays and uplift the powerful impact of kinship caregiving. Kinship care keeps children connected to their families, culture, identity, and history—providing stability and belonging during times of change. Your role is essential to the broader mission of foster care, and we are grateful for all you do.

We are extending this exciting virtual empowerment & support session to ALL formal and informal kinship caregivers, "Family First, Always! Focus: Kinship Care."

As an added bonus, any kinship families seeking licensure or renewal may receive 2 hours of training credit towards their continuing education requirement for attending!
