Notification of results from magnet and early college applications is Feb 20. You should get an email alerting you to check your parent account at wcpss.schoolmint.com. You will see that your child has been selected for a school or that they are in an applicant pool or both. Anytime an applicant is NOT selected for a school with a higher rank than a school they were selected for, they are in an applicant pool for that school. If they were not selected for any schools, they are in an applicant pool for all schools. You will be notified before applicant pool processing and can remove your child if you no longer wish to be in that applicant pool. The applicant pool is usually processed in the spring
If you missed the application period, you may submit a transfer request from March 2-13 at wcpss.schoolmint.com. You can use the available text box to share information about your request.
To submit the transfer request, your child MUST have a student ID number that is active with WCPSS for the 26-27 school year. For example, if your child is currently attending a charter school, private school, preK, including a WCPSS preK program, homeschool, or is just at home with you, you must enroll at the base school first to obtain or activate a student ID number. Even if you already have a student ID number, you must enroll at the base WCPSS school to activate that ID number for the 26-27 school year. For instructions and links for enrolling, visit wcpss.net/enroll f. Once you complete the online enrollment, you must take the required documents to the base school, and they will create or activate the student ID number. Once the ID number is active, it takes 24-48 hours for the number to be uploaded in the application
