District 6 NC Guardian ad Litem Program The District 6 Guardian ad Litem Program serves Bertie, Halifax, Hertford, and Northampton Counties in Eastern NC.

Welcome to the Official page of the District 6 Guardian ad Litem Program. The Guardian ad Litem Program recruits, trains & supervises volunteer advocates to represent abused and neglected children who are in the court system though no fault of their own. Requirements for becoming a Guardian ad Litem volunteer are a genuine concern for the welfare of children, a clean criminal background, and volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
