We have one week until Kids Together Playground's 26th Birthday Celebration. We hope you'll join us on Sunday, June 7, from 2-4 p.m. for some fun and frolicking, and while you're there enjoy crafts, slushies and much more. Oh, and don't forget to say hi to Katal the Dragon.

Little Free Library Week is May 17–23, 2026 and here are some ways you can get involved:
1. Share a book in a Little Free Library and help spread joy and spark a love of reading.
2. Enter a photo contest by submitting your photos using the hashtag on social media and be eligible for prizes.
3. Get out and explore the book-sharing boxes at Kids Together Playground and in your neighborhood while connecting with your community.

We hope to see you tomorrow (Sunday, May 17) at 2 p.m. at our annual Painted Rock Hunt where you can look for one-of-a-kind rocks that are hidden all over the playground for you to find.

This year's rocks were hand-painted by the Cary community at Kids Together's rock painting station at the 2026 Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. Come find one specially decorated rock at the (free!) Painted Rock Hunt! (One rock per person, please!)

We're counting down the days to another accessible, inclusive, and FREE event presented by Kids Together!

One-of-a-kind rocks will be hidden all over the playground for you to find and decide if you want to keep it, trade it, or hide it again for someone else.

Great news if you're looking for a way to beat the heat while at Kids Together Playground! In case you "mist" it, the Misting Garden is planned to start misting next Wednesday, May 13.

April 22nd is Earth Day. The theme is "Our Power, Our Planet", focusing on collective action to drive sustainable change. It highlights the potential of individuals, communities, and governments to create a sustainable, clean-energy future. The 2026 celebration seeks to bridge generations in a shared effort to restore and protect the planet.

April 25th is Cary Spring Daze Arts and Crafts Festival. Spend the day at Bond Park exploring over 170 local NC artists, enjoying live music and performances, grabbing delicious food, and experiencing fun activities for all ages. While you're there, be sure to visit Kids Together Playground in the Community Cove and have fun painting a rock for our upcoming Painted Rock Day.
