A big thank-you to the CGUHS Union Girls Flag Football Team for honoring our firefighters during Fire Prevention Week!
Firefighters from CGFD Station 503, C Shift, had the honor of escorting both teams onto the playing field, while Captain Pieper performed the coin toss at last night’s game. What a great way to recognize our firefighters and celebrate the community!
Thank you, Lady Cougars, for showing your support.

🔋 FIRE PREVENTION WEEK - Tip 2

Where you charge your battery devices matters!
Never charge your phone, tablet, laptop, or other battery-powered device on a bed, pillow, or couch. 🛏️
Heat can build up around the battery and increase the risk of fire.
✅ Charge on a hard, flat surface.
✅ Keep charging devices away from anything that can burn.
Charge smart. Charge safe!
