We welcome the much-needed rain, but despite the recent precipitation, Hood River County remains under a complete burn ban.

We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions, rainfall totals, and overall fire danger as we determine when it is safe to lift the burn ban. We understand that residents are eager to resume burning, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe.
Please continue to follow the burn ban until further notice. We will provide updates as conditions change and when the ban can be safely lifted.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued commitment to fire safety.
