In 2026, Cass County recorded 16 tax-reverted properties, the lowest total since the County Treasurer became the Foreclosing Governmental Unit and nearly 80% fewer than in 2013.
This progress reflects the Cass County Treasurer’s Office’s commitment to reaching property owners early and often through expanded notices, personal contact, payment assistance, hardship extensions, and other prevention efforts that go well beyond statutory requirements.
If you are struggling with delinquent property taxes, please contact our office early. The sooner we hear from you, the more opportunities we may have to help.
