What an AMAZING day for our 2026 Harvest Fest/Trunk-n-Treat! Team Heritage Southwest held their family outing today at Dr. Lawless Park. Not even the rainy drizzle and cooler temperatures could keep the smiles and laughter away. The parks department staff had the pleasure of giving many wagon and barrel car rides for the enthusiastic crowd.

It was another great Sandhill Crane 1/2 Marathon, 10k, 5k event at Dr. Lawless Park especially when legend and Race Director, Ron Gunn is there encouraging everyone to “Fire Up”. Thank you to Coach Gunn, many volunteers, parks staff and especially all the participants for making today a special one.
