What an incredible, unforgettable night celebrating 20 years of ELEMENTS! 🖤❤️✨
There are some nights that remind you exactly why you do what you do, and Friday night was one of those nights. Seeing familiar faces from years past, reconnecting with former staff, celebrating alongside our incredible program partners, welcoming back former youth, and spending the evening with the families we serve was truly special. To have so many people in one room who have been part of this journey was a beautiful reminder that ELEMENTS has always been about so much more than a program. It is about people, relationships, second chances, and the power of never giving up on a young person.
One of the most powerful moments of the evening was hearing our former youth share their stories. To hear where they started, the obstacles they faced, how far they have come, and where life has taken them today was nothing short of extraordinary. Hearing them speak about the role ELEMENTS played in their journeys left no dry eye in the room. Those moments are a reminder that the impact of this work doesn't end when a young person leaves our program. It lives on in the lives they build, the families they create, the goals they achieve, and the futures they once may not have imagined possible.
We also had the honor of recognizing some of the incredible individuals and partners who have helped shape ELEMENTS into what it is today. Their commitment, advocacy, love, and belief in this mission have helped carry this program forward for two decades, and we are forever grateful.
Twenty years represents thousands of conversations, countless hours of hard work, difficult days, small victories, second chances, and lives changed along the way. It represents people who showed up, people who cared, and people who believed that every young person deserves the opportunity to write a different story.
To everyone who has been part of the ELEMENTS journey over the last 20 years, THANK YOU. To our past and present staff, community partners, school personnel, families, former youth, and supporters, this milestone belongs to you, too. You have helped build something truly special, and we are so proud of what we have accomplished together.
And to our ELEMENTS team: the heart, dedication, and passion you pour into this work every day matter more than words can express. ❤️
Twenty years down, and we are just getting started! We are excited, inspired, and more committed than ever to the next 20 years of serving our youth, strengthening our families, and building a safer, brighter future for our community.
Here's to the stories still waiting to be written, the lives still waiting to be changed, and the countless young people who will walk through our doors in the years to come. The best is yet to come! 🖤❤️
