🎃👻Thank You, Balcones Heights Police Department & TMPA!👻🎃

Thank you to The Balcones Heights Police Department and TMPA Joey Sepulveda for hosting a fantastic Trunk or Treat at Dave & Buster’s in Balcones Heights. The Castle Hills Police Department & Castle Hills Police Association is grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of such a fun community event!

Chief Davila and Castle Hills Mayor JR Trevino arrived in style, showing off the classic and turning a few heads along the way! 🚘😎 Corporal Labrador brought out the Ghost Mustang, which was a huge hit with the crowd! And of course, Captain Wright was there spreading Halloween cheer, complimenting the kids on their costumes and making sure everyone knew they were looking spook-tacular!🎃👻😂

We appreciate the opportunity to come together with our fellow law enforcement and first responder partners to connect with the community and make lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! 🚔💙

🧦💙 SOCKTOBER – SMALL ACTS OF KINDNESS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE! 💙🧦

The Castle Hills Police Department is proud to support the Castle Hills Woman’s Club and the Castle Hills Community Organization in their annual “SockTober” Sock Drive!

👮‍♂️ Interim Chief Jose Davila, Sgt. Cervantes, and Officer Rendon joined together to donate socks and show their support for this wonderful community initiative!

Something as simple as a new pair of socks can make a meaningful difference in the life of someone experiencing homelessness. Socks are often one of the most-needed, yet least-donated, essential items.

At the Castle Hills Police Department, we believe serving our community goes beyond wearing the badge. It’s about compassion, generosity, and coming together to help those who need it most. 💙

🧦 WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GET INVOLVED!

📅 Donation Dates: October 10–24

📍 Drop-Off Location: Castle Hills City Hall, 209 Lemonwood

❤️ What’s Needed: New socks of all sizes!

All donated socks will benefit SAMM Ministries, helping provide comfort and warmth to individuals experiencing homelessness.

A special thank-you to the Castle Hills Woman’s Club and Castle Hills Community Organization for organizing this meaningful effort and giving our community another opportunity to make a difference.

💙 Together, we can make a difference—one pair of socks at a time!

🚔 Welcome to the Castle Hills Police Department, Officer Rendon! 🚔

The Castle Hills Police Department is proud to officially welcome Officer Rendon to our team!

Officer Rendon begins his Field Training Officer (FTO) Program this week with Sgt. Cervantes, marking the beginning of an important chapter in his law enforcement career with our department. We wish him the very best as he begins training, learning our community, and serving the citizens of Castle Hills.

Officer Rendon’s arrival also represents another step toward fully staffing our Patrol Division. Under the leadership of Interim Chief Jose Davila, recruiting and rebuilding department staffing has remained a priority. His continued efforts to bring qualified officers to CHPD are helping strengthen our department and ensure we have the personnel needed to provide the level of service our community deserves.

We are excited to have Officer Rendon wearing the Castle Hills badge and look forward to watching him grow as part of the CHPD family.

Welcome aboard, Officer Rendon! 👮‍♂️💙

If you see Officer Rendon out in the community during his field training, be sure to say hello and give him a warm Castle Hills welcome!

Good luck in FTO, Officer Rendon — we’re glad to have you on the team! 🚔

🚨 SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER OFFICERS FIND HIM TAKING A BATH

Early this morning, Castle Hills Police officers responded to a residence for a reported possible burglar. The homeowner reported that her dog woke her up and she could hear someone moving around inside her home. She immediately locked herself in her bedroom and called 911.

Officers quickly responded, secured the residence, and made entry with the homeowner's assistance. While clearing the home, officers discovered a male suspect in the bathroom — taking a bath.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Officers determined the suspect had allegedly entered the homeowner's vehicle, taken a spare house key, and used that key to enter the residence without permission. The suspect then locked himself inside the home and was found using the homeowner's water.

Evidence was documented and collected, and the suspect was transported to the Bexar County Jail for further processing.
Great work by Ofc. Galan #509, Ofc. Trejo #514, Cpl. Arriola #517, and Sgt. Tomblin #506 for their quick response, thorough search, and safe resolution of a very unsettling situation for the homeowner.

🔒 A QUICK REMINDER FROM CASTLE HILLS PD
Please remember to:

• Lock your vehicle every time you leave it.
• Never leave valuables inside your vehicle.
• Keep your vehicle locked, even when parked at home.
• Lock all doors and windows to your home.
• Turn on your exterior lights at night.
• If you see something suspicious, don't hesitate to call 911.
Taking a few extra seconds to secure your vehicle and home can help prevent criminals from gaining easy access.

Stay safe, stay alert, and help us keep Castle Hills safe!

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL CONVICTED IN A COURT OF LAW.
