CHS students celebrated College Application Week with multiple events encouraging them to expand their postsecondary opportunities. College/universities/military representatives spoke in classes each day explaining their admission process. Our freshmen class of 2030 experienced a campus visit to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah sponsored by our partner GEAR UP. Here they learned about ways to pay for college, the importance of highschool academics, and how to combat the challenges of going to college. Students also attended OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine where they participated in real life simulators within the medical field. Exploring their options after high school with opportunities like these, prepares them for a successful future.
