CHAOS IS THE POINT. Tuesday night training at Oak Grove Fire, we brought the noise and tested the limits. Downed firefighter removal through obstacles, loud music, distractions, and simulated zero visibility conditions.

Because when everything goes sideways and the pressure hits, training takes over. Trust your training. Trust your crew.

Work hard. Train hard.

🌧️ TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN! 🌧️

The Oak Grove Fire Department is keeping a close eye on the weather today and over the next several days as possible severe weather and flash flooding could impact our area.

If you come across a flooded roadway, please DO NOT test your vehicle’s boat-driving abilities. Your SUV is not a submarine, and our firefighters would really prefer not to come rescue you from one!

Remember: “Turn Around, Don’t Drown” isn’t just a catchy saying, it can save your life.

Stay weather aware, have multiple ways to receive alerts!

With love and dry socks,
