Tonight, we pause to honor and remember a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community. With profound respect and gratitude, we remember Trooper Hayden Phillips, who was killed in the line of duty today.

Trooper Phillips dedicated his life to protecting others, serving with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Trooper Phillips family, loved ones, fellow Troopers, and all those who knew and served alongside him.

Today, we face one of the most difficult moments an agency can endure as we announce the loss of one of our own. Trooper Hayden Phillips, Unit 369, made the ultimate sacrifice while
patrolling I-65 in Warren County. He was assigned to Post 3 Bowling Green and was a graduate of Cadet Class 103. His dedication to duty and commitment to the commonwealth will not
be forgotten.
Our hearts break for Trooper Phillips’ family, loved ones, and fellow troopers as we grieve this tremendous loss. We will carry his memory with us, honor the life he lived and the badge he wore, and stand together as an agency to support this family in the days ahead.
-Colonel Phillip Burnett, Jr.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the show this past weekend! Officer’s, R. Kersey and Gibson were able to sneak in on the action. From what I hear there were many laughs to be had. Thanks for a great show and a safe evening Cave City!!

Football has started and the temperatures will be dropping soon…hopefully. You know what that means?!?! It’s Chili season! We would like to invite everyone to our Chili Supper on October 23. Doors will open at 5pm, (I said 5pm Chief Reynolds, don’t sneak an early bowl!) and it‘s only $8 a plate. All proceeds will go towards funding our community outreach activities such as shop with a cop and maybe even a grinch gas card giveaway! We look forward to seeing everyone and appreciate the community’s support. And, before you ask, the proceeds will not fund flock camera’s; I know someone will speculate 👀😂 Seriously, come join us for a great supper where your support goes directly back into the community.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️

The Glasgow Police Department wants to warn the public about an ankle monitor scam targeting families of individuals who have been arrested.

Scammers may pose as law enforcement or court officials and claim that a loved one can be released from jail if you immediately pay a fee for a GPS ankle monitor. They may use real names, arrest information, and even spoof phone numbers to make the call appear legitimate.

Remember:

Law enforcement will never call demanding payment for someone’s release or ankle monitor.

Never send money through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Bitcoin, or gift cards based on an unsolicited call.

Caller ID can be spoofed.

Hang up and contact the jail, court, or law enforcement agency directly using a verified phone number.

Please share this warning, especially with anyone who may have a family member currently incarcerated. Do not send money or provide personal or financial information to these callers.
