Something exciting is coming to Skye Canyon!

We're proud to be part of bringing a brand-new playground to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department substation, a place where officers and the Skye Canyon community can come together, and where kids will soon have a whole new space to run, climb, and play.

It's more than a playground. It's a spot where the neighborhood and the officers who serve it can connect, right in their own backyard.

Stay tuned - this one's shaping up beautifully.

There's a playground out there for every community.

From impressive towers and multi-level structures that become neighborhood landmarks, to smaller, perfectly crafted spaces that bring just as much joy, great play isn't about size. It's about finding exactly the right fit for your community, your space, and your vision. We'd love to help you find yours.

Color is more powerful than you think. We're exploring the science behind color in the built environment - how children's visual skills develop, how color preferences evolve as kids grow, and why research should always drive your color decisions over personal preference. The right colors on a playground can do more than look great, they can support childhood wellbeing in meaningful ways. Come learn with us!

When you work with the land instead of against it, the land plays along too. Mounds become a game of "don't touch the lava." A hillside becomes a climbing wall. A dip in the land becomes a hideout, a lookout, a whole new game. A tunnel through the hillside becomes a secret passage to somewhere else entirely.

Kids don't experience topography as a design feature. They experience it as discovery - the different route up, the faster way down, the vantage point nobody else thought to climb. It's the kind of play that builds balance and confidence without a single instruction, because the land itself is doing the teaching.

None of it happens by accident. Every hill, every slope, every change in elevation gets planned down to the grade, It's the result of careful collaboration, making sure the ground itself becomes part of the play, not just what the play sits on.

A Small Town, A Big Dream: How District 1876 Became West Texas’ Newest Community Hub

In a rural West Texas community of about 3,000 people, something remarkable happened. District 1876, a brand-new destination park, opened its gates, and more visitors showed up than the town’s entire population. That turnout tells you everything you need to know about what this project means to the area.

For families in this corner of West Texas, the nearest destination park with any real scale used to mean a long drive. There simply wasn’t a destination park anywhere nearby. Kids grew up without a hometown gathering place to call their own, somewhere to climb, splash, run, and gather with friends, until District 1876 became that place.

Funding a project of this size is rarely simple, we work with communities at every budget level and stage of the park development journey, from early planning through final installation. KDC Associates was brought in to lead the design and Exerplay was honored to be considered as the playground design and installation partner, supporting the project with shade structures, water play, playground equipment, and playground turf surfacing. It’s the kind of partnership we love most: a whole team of people, each bringing their own piece, working toward one shared vision for a town.
