Big news for Cedar Hill and the entire North Texas region!
Please join us in congratulating Mayor Stephen Mason on being elected Chair of the Regional Transportation Council (RTC) for the 2026-27 term.
The RTC helps guide transportation planning for the Dallas-Fort Worth region, serving more than 8.5 million residents across 12 counties. From roads and rail to trails and transit, the council plays a major role in shaping how our region moves today and prepares for the future.
Mayor Mason's election reflects Cedar Hill's growing voice in regional conversations and his commitment to ensuring our community has a seat at the table as transportation priorities are planned for generations to come.
Congratulations, Mayor Mason! We are proud to see Cedar Hill helping lead the way forward. 👏

Trivia time! Without looking it up, can you tell us what makes East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah famous? 👀
While you're thinking about your answer, our Executive Assistant Cheryl Vaughan recently took a little piece of Cedar Hill on an adventure to Utah over Memorial Day weekend.
The Cedar Hill flag made stops at Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park, including an early morning hike to Mesa Arch for a stunning sunrise view. Believe it or not, Cheryl wasn't the only one willing to be up before dawn for the moment. Dozens of people gathered along the overlook to watch the sun come up over the canyon.
From breathtaking arches to unforgettable views, Cedar Hill was proudly represented every step of the way.
