What better place to wrap up a year of learning and leadership than Cedar Hill? 💚

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the Leadership Southwest (LSW) class for their final class day! Participants got a closer look at our community through conversations with Mayor Stephen Mason and representatives from our Cedar Hill Parks and Recreation Department, Traphene Hickman Library, Visit Cedar Hill TX Tourism and Economic Development departments.

As a proud partner of the Best Southwest Partnership, we're especially excited to have City of Cedar Hill employees among this year's class! It's always a pleasure to connect with leaders who are passionate about the communities they serve and the future of Southwest Dallas County.

Thank you to Leadership Southwest for spending the day with us. Wishing this year's class a wonderful graduation and continued success in all that's ahead! 🎓

Our very own Henry Florsheim, Director of Economic Development, is taking the stage at the 2026 International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Annual Conference!

This year's conference brings together economic development professionals and thought leaders from around the world to share ideas, exchange experiences and explore what's next for communities like ours.

Henry knows a thing or two about turning big ideas into real opportunities, and we're excited to see him bring that perspective to the IEDC stage. It's a well-deserved opportunity, and we couldn't be happier to cheer him on!

Join us in wishing Henry the best as he heads to New Orleans, October 25–28. Make us proud, Henry!

20 years ago, Darrell Babbit chose Cedar Hill. We’d say that worked out pretty well 💚

When Darrell was looking for a home for Superstar Collision Center, he searched across the region before landing here in Cedar Hill.

Fast forward two decades, and Superstar Collision is celebrating 20 years in Cedar Hill! Through a changing industry, new technology and plenty of challenges along the way, Darrell and his team have remained committed to delivering quality work they can take pride in while building lasting relationships with their customers.

For Darrell, those relationships are what have made the last 20 years especially meaningful.

“The relationships that we’ve built with our customers and the community” are what he’s most proud of, and after two decades in Cedar Hill, there are plenty of those relationships to celebrate.

From choosing Cedar Hill as the place to establish his business to continuing to serve customers 20 years later, Superstar Collision is a great example of what it looks like for a local business to put down roots and grow alongside its community.

Congratulations to Darrell and the Superstar Collision team on 20 years in Cedar Hill! Thank you for choosing Cedar Hill, taking pride in the work you do and continuing to be part of our business community.
