Looking for volunteer opportunities? Below are 2 ways you can serve our neighbors in need:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Donate Your Services
Community Action Services and Food Bank, in partnership with the Provo LDS Transitional Services and the Utah County ICAN program, is launching a new Community Impact Network to connect individuals and families facing temporary crises with local businesses and professionals willing to donate services.
They are looking for businesses and individual professionals who may be willing to donate services such as auto repair, legal assistance, HVAC, healthcare, counseling, haircuts, financial services, and other professional expertise.
Participants choose the level of support that works for them, and we connect their services with vetted community needs. The goal is to remove short-term barriers that can prevent individuals and families from achieving greater stability and self-reliance.
- Warm Hearts, Warm Nights
Community Action Services and Food Bank is preparing Brenda’s Warming Center for the upcoming winter season, and your help is needed.
Volunteer for a few hours to help create a welcoming, safe place for neighbors experiencing homelessness, or donate cold-weather supplies and comfort items to help guests stay warm through the winter.
