Incredible growth, energy and impact at the Bybee Lakes Hope Center Victory Garden. Huge thanks to our partners with Helping Hands Reentry Outreach Centers for now two years of work transforming nearly 3 acres at this former correctional facility. More exceptional outcomes to come.

While gardening is therapeutic, certain kinds of gardens can be designed specifically to reduce triggers, calm the body and mind, and service members of the community who may have different levels of accessibility. A therapeutic garden can include wide paths, raised planting beds, and plants that engage the senses in specific ways. The garden at Bybee Lakes Hope Centered, maintained in partnership with VetREST, Oregon Chapter, was designed this way.
