ECCF partners with local faith communities, agencies, and concerned individuals to provide Linn county residents with limited help with rent, utilities, transportation, education, other basic needs, & supportive services and advocacy. Believing that every person has immutable right to food, shelter, clothing, and lifelong learning,
Believing that these rights do not depend on a person's religious faith or lack thereof,
Believing that faith communities serve best when they reach beyond their membership and assist the larger community,
Believing that people deserve to be approached with an attitude of trust.

Temp had just dropped. On his way to a job interview, he only had shorts. We just happened to have some pants and shoes in just his size.

"Have you eaten today?" He hadn't.

We're not really a food pantry or a clothing closet, but he needed ALL the resources: a food list so he knew where to get supper, , a temp agency list in case the job interview didn't pan out, housing lists, personal care items, and some substantial snacks.

He took notes on other resources and left with more than he'd expected, along with some new hope.

65% of Linn County neighbors we've helped this year with rent, utilities, auto gas, or IDs have had a medical issue complicating their finances. Many of our neighbors are struggling to meet their own most basic needs.

IDs are essential, and you can help! When we issue vouchers to pay for replacement IDs, people get temporary paper IDs that sometimes get wet or torn. Waterproof ID holders are available in bulk from larger ordering houses for around 15 or 20 cents each. People can keep other important cards in them too!

We are running out of shampoo, toothpaste, conditioner, body wash and bar soap, and laundry and dish soap, to give to our low income neighbors who have run out. We do still have a little deodorant and some razors.

They don't have to be fleece. All sizes. Also, some longer ones are nice for people with long locks.

Fresh Out Friday! Laundry soap for neighbors in need is running VERY low. These few detergent (eco) sheets may not last the day today.

Imagine being out with no money to get more. Can you help? Pods, eco sheets, powder, or liquid. ANY kind is GREAT! Pods and eco sheets are easy to split into smaller packages when we don't have much to give.
