Alright everyone, the burn ban has officially been lifted!

Just a reminder we are still under a Burn Ban! The rain was much needed but not nearly enough to cancel the ban!

🚑 CONGRATULATIONS, NEW EMRs! 🚑

Two weekends. 40 hours of training. Numerous assessments, a final test, and plenty of hard work later… we did it! 🎉

We are proud to announce that Joshua Mannion, Andrew Payne, and Kelly Lopeman have successfully completed their training, passed all assessments and testing, and are now officially Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs)! 👏👏👏

We don't train just to add another certification to our names. We train because our community deserves people who are prepared to respond when someone needs help. ❤️

Every hour spent learning, practicing, testing, and pushing ourselves is an investment in the people we serve.

🚑 Train hard. Serve well. Be ready. 🚒

Congratulations, Joshua, Andrew, and Kelly! We're proud of you and grateful for your commitment to better serving our community. 🇺🇸

This is a reminder folks Crawford County is still under a Burn Ban! The small amounts of rain we have received are nice but not remotely enough to lift the ban. If you see someone burning please report it.

08/31/2026

Fire Danger has been upgraded to HIGH for Crawford County. We have had no impactful rainfall in several weeks. Small fires become big fires very easily in these condition’s.

The Burn Ban for Crawford County is still in effect.

Please see attached.
