📢 Medicare Open Enrollment Starts Today!

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7! If you have Medicare, now is the time to review your current coverage and make sure it still meets your needs.

During open enrollment, you can make changes to your coverage, including switching between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, changing Medicare Advantage plans, or joining, switching, or dropping a Medicare prescription drug plan.

☕💜 A friendly reminder: October Memory Café is coming up!

Join the Cumberland County Office on Aging & Disabled on Wednesday, October 28, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the Parish of All Saints in Millville!

Memory Café welcomes individuals living with cognitive loss or dementia and their caregivers for an afternoon of music therapy, engaging activities, social connection, and caregiver education and support.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be celebrating the opening of the NEW Cumberland County Connection Center at the Cumberland Mall! 🎉

A senior center reimagined, the Connection Center will bring new opportunities for older adults in Cumberland County through outreach services, engaging programs, informational sessions, special events, and so much more! 💙

We’re looking forward to creating a welcoming space where seniors can connect, learn, stay active, and discover all the resources and opportunities available to them.

We have been graced season after season with a beautiful Osprey who chose to build her nest on top of an electric pole at our center. Finally, a new pole is going to be placed away from electric source, ensuring safety against fires. Her nest will be put on a platform. When she comes back, a safe place will be found.

Christina from Pepco Holdings visited with us. We learned so many things about the over harvesting of menhaden fish, which is the ospreys main food source. What are the menhaden fish used for? Omega 3 supplements! Along with many other facts about the ospreys and eagles. Hopefully, solutions will be found to ensure our birds have the life. 🪹 🪺

Fall has arrived at our center! Fall crafting, Scrabble, our favorite games, enjoying new members and our friendships. 🍂🧡🍁🤎🍂

What a fun week! A few members just love doing puzzles at our center! So beautiful when finished.
We played our favorite, Rummikub; along with Skipbo and Phase 10! Today we had a“mini”
bingo. Since fall is close, we played for all things fall 🧡🍂🍁A lot of laughter and smiles abound. We are a village.

Stop in and spend a day with us. Mon-Thurs from 10-3. Would also like to give a big shout out to Sheppard Farms for bringing us fresh corn and asparagus in the spring! We’ve also found fresh produce left for us by a mystery person. We really appreciate this person for sharing and being so kind. Thank you so much! Kindness still exists ❤️🤍💙

Tuesday, August 18th at 6:30 pm.

The August meeting of The Lawrence Township Historical Society will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:30 pm.
After a short business meeting, Joe Rugenus will be sharing his experience of flying in a restored World War 2 B-24 bomber, along with some thoughts on the men and women of the "greatest generation " who flew and built the weapons instrumental in our victory in World War 2. All are invited.

The Village had a great week! From Bingo on Tuesday, to Bingo with The Maurice House; who brought us great prizes full of goodies!
On Thursday, Santa 🎅 delivered ice cream sundaes from our own, Frosty’s in Cedarville! Mary Ann received an award for being a living legacy in Downe Twp! We are living our life and forgetting our age here! ♥️ Merry Santa Day!!🎄☀️🍦🍬🎁
