A day full of learning, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Today we held our first Staff Wellness Day of the year. From sharpening our situational awareness skills, to bringing the heat in our Chopped cooking challenge 🍳, and learning the game of Mahjong 🀄. We made time to connect, recharge, and have some fun together!

Because taking care of ourselves and building stronger connections with one another makes us an even stronger team! 💚✨

Special thanks to Shelly Moorman with Don’t Be a Target, Mercer County Civic Foundation, Mercer County District Library, and Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce for making the day special!

Measles has been a big story this year, both in Ohio and nationally. The state has seen more than 200 reported cases so far, the most in any year in Ohio in over a decade.

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) works closely with its local health department partners to help encourage people to get the MMR (Measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine, which is safe and highly effective (97%) against this extremely contagious disease that can cause serious illness, including hospitalizations.

For questions about measles and the vaccine to prevent measles, please contact the Mercer County Health District at 419-586-3251 option 2.
