“Our front lobby now holds a Narcan (naloxone) kiosk, a project we pursued for several months.
We finally brought it online this week, with genuine appreciation for everyone involved.
Narcan saves lives; the significance needs no explanation.
Resources of this kind often come with hurdles involving cost or limited supply. Chief Doran, along with members from our Co-Response team at SummitStone Health Partners and detectives from our drug task force, saw a need. They pushed forward, viewing this step as crucial for our community’s well-being.
Dangerous narcotics have infiltrated the streets of America, including here in our beautiful city. The Loveland Police Department takes this problem seriously. Drug use, like that of fentanyl, often destroys a person’s life. No one deserves to die due to addiction, and we hope users can find recovery and freedom.
