Join us tomorrow (Friday, July 17th) at 10 AM, the Center Point EMS will be visiting the library. We will start in the community room with a story about ambulances, and then we will go outside to hear them talk about their job and see the ambulance!

It's been a little while since we had a Meet the Volunteer. So, for this addition, I would like to introduce Austyn Harman.
Austyn is a native to Center Point and has been officially with us since January of 2024. I say officially because he's been hanging around the ambulance garage since before he could walk.
You might ask what is his position on the service?
Austyn is a driver, part of our board of directors, and working on his EMT certification.
Austyn not only volunteers with us but also Center Point Fire, that's not where his commitment to helping his community ends though he works full time as a dispatcher for Black Hawk County. when he is not helping his community, you can most likely find him playing golf or fishing along with spending time with his family.
If you see him around make sure and say hi!

We’re still looking for more teams to join us for this year’s tournament! This is a 4-Person Best Shot, making it a great chance to get a group together and enjoy a day out on the course.

Registration will begin at 8:00 AM with tee-off starting at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be provided at the turn, along with sides and desserts.

As always, don’t forget — golfers will have a shot at the $10,000 Hole-in-One prize on Hole #2!

What an exceptional fair week it was. We appreciate The Linn County Fair for permitting us to provide standby services for all events. The week was a resounding success and we would like to extend our gratitude to 3rd Fire District and Coggon Fire Department.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who attended today's event in support of our organization. This was the biggest turnout we have ever had. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Center Point Volunteer Fire Department for their help with the breakfast today. We always love working with all of our local first responders. We hope you have a wonderful remainder of your day. We will see you at the parade and touch a truck to follow. We will be the guest bartender at the b**r tent tonight, be sure to swing by and say hi!
