I had company at tonight’s city council meeting. And she insisted on sitting in the first row. Believe it or not, she’s actually been incredibly interested in what I’m doing, what it’s called, and where I’m going when I say I’m going to a meeting. The iPad helped though. 😂

This Saturday is the last Coffee with the Mayor with Bill Edwards. It’s also possibly the last opportunity to meet and hear from the candidates who will be on the ballot this year. If you haven’t attended one, this would be a great space to ask questions and get to know the people on the ballot.

One of the things that continues to stand out to me throughout this campaign is how much people care about Centerton.

I’ve had conversations with residents at community events, forums, meetings, and at their front doors. Different people may have different priorities, but there is a shared desire to see Centerton remain a great place to live, work, raise a family, and build a future.

That’s why listening matters.

I’m committed to bringing that community perspective with me to City Council and working toward thoughtful, responsible decisions for Centerton.

A City Councilman should understand the issues facing residents, ask questions, do the homework, and make decisions with the long-term interests of the community in mind.

I’m not running to simply have a seat at the table. I’m running because I want to be engaged, prepared, accessible, and willing to do the work.

Centerton deserves leadership that listens and follows through.
