🚒 ENGINE 611 IS IN SERVICE 🚒

Today, we officially placed our second new engine, Engine 611, into service at Station 1.

With Engine 612 already serving from Station 2, the addition of Engine 611 completes the deployment of our two new Pierce Enforcer engines. Together, these apparatus replace aging engines that have served our community for decades and represent a significant investment in the safety of both our firefighters and the community we serve.

We’re grateful for the continued support of our citizens, Mayor, and City Council that made these new engines possible.

Engine 611 is staffed, equipped, and ready to serve Centerton and our surrounding communities.

🔥 **BURN BAN REMAINS IN EFFECT** 🔥

While the recent rain was welcome, conditions remain very dry, and the risk of fire remains high.

Centerton residents remain under a countywide burn ban. Please use extra caution with anything that could produce a flame or spark.

Recent rainfall does not mean the fire danger has passed. Please help us prevent unnecessary fires by remaining cautious and complying with all burn ban restrictions.

🚒 Engine 612 is officially in service!

This morning, members of the Centerton Fire Department took part in a traditional push-in ceremony to mark Engine 612’s official placement into service.

The push-in tradition dates back to the days of horse-drawn fire apparatus, when firefighters had to push their equipment back into the station after returning from a call. Today, it remains a way to welcome a new apparatus into the firehouse and recognize the beginning of its service to the community.

Engine 612 is one of our two new Pierce Enforcer engines and is housed at Station 2. Thank you to our citizens, Mayor, and City Council for their continued investment in the safety of our firefighters and the community we serve.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for our Annual Pancake Breakfast! 🥞🚒

We had a great morning opening the station to the community, sharing breakfast, showing off the trucks, and spending time with the families and neighbors we serve. We also had the opportunity to share information and resources on wildfire prevention, home preparedness, and ways residents can help reduce wildfire risks around their property.

Most of all, we appreciate everyone who came out to support your local firefighters and spend part of their Saturday morning with us.

We’re proud to serve this community. Thank you, Centerton! ❤️🚒

Before sunrise this morning, our crews climbed in remembrance of the 343 firefighters who never came home on September 11, 2001.

A quiet tribute to their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the citizens of Centerton, Mayor Edwards, and the City Council for their continued support of the fire department and their commitment to providing our firefighters with the equipment and resources needed to serve our community safely and effectively.
