PLEASE use your headlights in this heavy fog!

And parents, Sgt. Wascom has stopped two 17 year olds in the last two days on the Central Throughway for speedng. One was travelling 97 mph and the other was doing 92 mph! Talk to your children, please. A crash at these speeds are almost certainly going to be fatal.

Of course everyone knows about the Christmas Gift event myself and my employees put on each year since I was elected Chief of Police for Central Police Department. This event has grown each year. Well I'm asking for assistance in wrapping presents which we have had to start early. Myself and several ladies are at Kristenwood on Greenwell Springs Road, wrapping as I make this post. This is for needy children of our community. If you would like to volunteer, bring your scissors and join us. Central Pd has been lucky and have been joined by the United Cajun Navy, Magnolia Key Reality (Central), Steamatic of South Louisiana (Central) and Kristenwood Reception Hall. We have lots to wrap.
Special thanks to you men with Central High School Football who have assisted in unloading gifts. More pictures to follow!

PLEASE AVOID THE AREA

A large but peaceful protest is occurring in the 13500 block of Hooper Road, in front of Covers Unlimited. Law-enforcement is monitoring the situation but traffic has become congested. Please avoid the area if possible.
