You spoke, we listened, and now we’re seeing action!

Through our Downtown Parking Survey and ongoing conversations with our community, one thing became clear: pedestrian safety matters, and improving the visibility of our crosswalks was something our community wanted to see prioritized.

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Centralia for listening, responding, and taking action to stripe our downtown crosswalks! 👏

This is exactly why community feedback matters. When residents, businesses, and community partners share their perspectives, we can turn those conversations into meaningful improvements.

It may seem like a simple coat of paint, but it represents something much bigger: a downtown where community voices are heard and progress happens through collaboration.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey, shared their experiences, and helped advocate for a safer, more welcoming downtown. And a HUGE thank you to our City partners for helping make it happen!

Another step forward. Another community win. A stronger downtown Centralia!

Our Belonging Survey is officially LIVE!

The Centralia Downtown Association is participating in the Belonging Barometer to better understand what helps people feel connected, welcomed, valued, and part of our community, and where we still have room to grow.

Whether you have lived here your whole life, recently arrived, own a business, work here, raise a family here, or simply care about Centralia, we want to hear from you.

Your responses will help us better understand what belonging looks like in Centralia and help guide conversations and future efforts in our community.

Take the survey and add your voice to the conversation.
