🏠 HCV PROGRAM UPDATE

To help us serve as many families as possible with our HUD-funded budget, we are currently pausing portability for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants as part of our cost saving efforts. Like many authorities nationwide rents continue to increase.

We will continue to monitor our funding and provide updates as our circumstances change.

It has come to our attention that inaccurate information has been circulating on Facebook.

To clarify, our Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. However, we are not issuing new vouchers at this time, and we are not approving portability requests (ports) outside our service area except to agencies that will absorb.

These decisions are based on the level of funding currently available to our agency.
