THIS IS BIBB. 💜💛🏹 More Than Football.
We came up ONE point short last night against Pleasant Grove with first place in the region on the line, but I couldn’t be prouder of our Choctaws! On live TV, our players battled until the very end, and our fans traveled through a hurricane to stand behind them! 💪
I had the opportunity to share during my halftime interview on ABC 33/40’s Friday Night Rivals what makes Bibb County football so special.
I’m proud to support Coach Geo, a man who teaches his players to believe in God, believe in themselves, take pride in their school and community, and NEVER QUIT. He’s not just building football players. He’s building men of character.
And he’s doing it with young men who are FROM BIBB COUNTY.
In an era when high school football rosters can be filled with players from all over the country, there’s something incredibly special about a team built around young men who grew up right here, playing little league football and dreaming of one day wearing the purple and gold.
Their daddies, granddaddies, and even great-granddaddies were Choctaws. And Choctaws they will forever be! 💜💛
These young men don’t have to leave their community to chase their dreams. Everything they want to accomplish is possible RIGHT HERE IN BIBB COUNTY.
That’s tradition. That’s loyalty. That’s community. THAT’S BIBB. 🏹
Now it’s time to turn our attention north! We’ve got a county rivalry to prepare for.
