Every child develops at their own pace—but sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference.

If you have questions about your child's development, you don't have to figure it out alone.

The Early Development Network (EDN) connects families with services and resources for children from birth to age 3 who may have developmental delays or special healthcare needs.

Early intervention can help children build skills, gain confidence, and reach their fullest potential.

If you have concerns about your child's development, we're here to help.

💙 Because every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Sometimes a break doesn't fix everything.

But it can give you the space to breathe, reset, and keep going.

Respite provides caregivers with time away from their caregiving responsibilities while supporting the well-being of the entire family.

💙 A break isn't giving up. It's recharging.

🧸 TEDDY BEAR CLINIC IS BACK! 🩺💙

Calling all kids! Western Community Health Resources is excited to host our Teddy Bear Clinic during the Harvest Moon Fall Festival!

📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026
⏰ 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
📍 Dawes County Fairgrounds

Bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal for a FREE health check! Don’t have a stuffed animal? No worries—we’ll have one available to participate.

Kids will get to follow along as their teddy—or other stuffed friend—receives an annual checkup and vaccinations, then leaves with a certificate of good health! 🧸🩺

The Teddy Bear Clinic is a fun, hands-on way to introduce children to healthcare in a friendly and comfortable environment. Through play, kids can learn what happens during a medical visit, become familiar with healthcare professionals and equipment, and help ease some of the fears they may have about checkups and medical procedures.

Come see us during the Harvest Moon Fall Festival and make sure your stuffed friend gets a clean bill of health! 💙

IT’S OKAY TO ASK.

“Are you okay?”

“Do you want to talk?”

“Can I sit with you?”

“Would you like some help?”

Asking about someone’s mental health doesn't put the idea in their head.

It can let them know:

“You don't have to go through this alone.”

This Su***de Prevention Month, be willing to start the conversation.

💙 A question can be a lifeline.

WCHR is here when you need support.
