It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our neighboring firefighters, whose life was lost yesterday while battling a large fire. Please keep the Wellston Fire Department and the fallen firefighter’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for the service and sacrifice of those who protect our communities.

Good Evening everyone!!

Our fire departments have been extremely busy throughout the county with wildfires. Unfortunately, this could be only the beginning of fire season with current conditions. All our fire departments are needing rehab supplies.

These supplies include:
Water
Gatorade
Electrolyte Drip Mixes (drip drop, liquid iv, fire salt)
Individually packaged snacks (that won’t melt)
Chapstick
Eye Drops

These supplies can also be dropped off with us and we can distribute them as needed.

Please give these guys plenty of room to work. Stay safe and hydrated!
