This week we had two OT students from Duke University join us. They certainly enjoyed their time with us, especially admiring the garden.

This week we made aromatherapy oils and refreshed our air fresheners with the sweet scents of eucalyptus, lavender, and other delightful fragrances.

Yesterday some of our participants took a field to University Presbyterian Church to learn more about the history of the organ. The Sanctuary Organ is the result of the collaboration between American organbuilder Robert L. Sipe and Aug. Laukhuff & Company of Weikersheim, Germany, one of Europe’s oldest organ builders.
It is a sight to behold with 2,600 pipes.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our UNC intern, Hannah.
Hannah has been a tremendous support in the Charles House garden, and she will certainly be missed. Wishing her all the best and good luck in what comes next!

Last week we planted a selection of herbs. We definitely have a lot of participants with green fingers!
