The CED Program at the School of Government provides public officials with training, research, and technical assistance. http://ced.sog.unc.edu/.

The School of Government’s work in community and economic development focuses on enhancing capacity at the local and regional level. The goal is to equip public officials to better understand their local economies and community assets, the trends affecting them, available resources, and innovative strategies for leveraging their community’s strengths and opportunities in the new economy.

DFI graduate fellows take a break and enjoy a local favorite after doing field work in Hertford, NC!

These three good-looking young people came to Bertie County Peanuts from Las Vegas, Northern Virginia, and Durham by way of UNC's D5 program(?). But they were in Hertford and looking for boiled peanuts and took a little side trip! And they liked(sorta) the boiled peanuts!
