We’re challenging the ENTIRE Chapmanville community to show up, fill those stands, and make some noise for our CYFL LITTLE TIGERS!

These young athletes have spent months practicing, battling, sweating, and giving everything they’ve got for the orange and black. Now they’ve earned their opportunity to fight for a CHAMPIONSHIP!

Tomorrow, it’s OUR turn to show up for THEM!

We want the stands FULL. We want the crowd LOUD. We want every single one of these kids to look up and see an entire community standing behind them!

🚒🔥 VFIS EVOC INSTRUCTOR CLASS – ONLY 15 SEATS AVAILABLE! 🔥🚒

The Chapmanville Fire Department is proud to announce that we will be hosting a VFIS Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) Instructor Class!

This course is designed to prepare qualified emergency service personnel to become EVOC instructors and provide emergency vehicle operations training within their departments.

📅 CLASS DATES – NOVEMBER 6 & 7, 2026

🚨 FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH
⏰ Class begins at 6:00 PM (1800 HRS)

🚨 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH
⏰ Class begins at 10:00 AM (1000 HRS)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is a two-day class. Participants should plan to attend BOTH Friday evening and Saturday’s sessions.

👨‍🚒 WHO MAY ATTEND?

This training is intended for firefighters and emergency service personnel interested in becoming EVOC instructors and bringing valuable driver training back to their departments.

✅ Personnel from VFIS-insured departments are encouraged to register.

✅ Personnel from non-VFIS departments should contact the registration coordinator to verify eligibility and applicable fees.

✅ Questions regarding instructor qualifications or course prerequisites should be directed to the registration coordinator.

A working smoke detector can make the difference when seconds count.

The Chapmanville Fire Department, in partnership with the American Red Cross, is proud to offer FREE smoke detectors, along with installation, to help keep the homes and families in our community safe.

🏠 We’ll come to your home and:

✅ Check your existing smoke detectors
🔋 Replace batteries or detectors as needed
🚨 Install FREE American Red Cross smoke detectors in proper locations
👨‍🚒 Provide important fire safety information for you and your family

There is NO COST for this service.
