🌽 Corn Is Growing—Drive With Extra Caution

As you’re traveling our county roads this time of year, use extra caution at rural intersections. As corn continues to grow, visibility can be significantly reduced, making it difficult to see approaching traffic—especially at rural four-way intersections.

Slow down, come to a complete stop, and look both ways before proceeding. Even if you have the right-of-way, never assume other drivers can see you or will stop. Taking one extra second to make sure the intersection is clear could save a life or prevent a serious injury.

Let’s all do our part to keep our roads safe this summer.
