💙🖤 National Police Week 2026🖤💙

This week, we honor the men and women who wear the badge with courage, integrity, and a deep commitment to protecting our community. National Police Week is a time to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and to recognize the dedication of those who continue to serve every day.

Police Week was established in 1962 when President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation designating May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which it falls as National Police Week. Since then, communities across the nation have come together each year to honor fallen officers and support the families and agencies they left behind.

Here in Bradley County, we are grateful for the trust and support of our citizens and proud to stand beside the brave deputies, officers, dispatchers, correctional staff, and first responders who answer the call, day and night. 🚔

To all who serve, and to the families who serve alongside them, thank you. Your sacrifice, strength, and dedication will never be forgotten. 💙

HCSO Announces the Death of Deputy Landon Faulkner

Hamilton County, TN – Sheriff Austin Garrett, Chief Deputy Spencer Daniels, and the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are greatly saddened to announce the death of Deputy Landon Faulkner.

Deputy Faulkner was involved in a serious collision on Highway 111, where he collided with a disabled vehicle in a travel lane on Wednesday evening, and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Faulkner began working for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in 2022, after serving as both a deputy and corrections deputy in Grundy County for almost three years. He also graduated from the Knoxville Police Department’s Explorer Cadet program in 2017.

Please join us as we keep the deputy’s family, friends, and colleagues in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating this incident, and all further questions about the vehicle collision should be directed to their agency.
