Folks, we aren't perfect - but we aren't who got you here either. Democrats ran West Virginia, often with a trifecta, for 84 years. The 4 fastest growing states (UT, ID, TX, FL) have Republican legislatures.

Poor and complacent Democratic leadership enabled the problems West Virginians face today. We don't like the direction they sent us in, and voters clearly didn't either.

We're committed to reversing course, turning this thing around, and bringing prosperity back to the mountain state and its people. Don't just take us at our word - West Virginia recently experienced positive net migration for the first time in a decade.

Good jobs. Strong families. Thriving communities. That's the goal.

West Virginia is taking advantage of these economic development opportunities that will inject millions into our communities, and we've passed legislation that ensures our environment is protected while we do it. Revenue from data centers means more money for local projects, like parks and water projects- and we'll always champion projects like that!

INNOVATING AND ADVANCING: Recycling is evolving- and House Republicans passed the Advanced Recycling Act to allow and encourage our manufacturers to explore cheaper, reused materials. Cheaper materials mean more capital for jobs, and lower prices for you!

HELPING OUR COMMUNITIES: House Republicans passed HB4784, "Extending Qualified Opportunity Zones", which provides tax benefits to individuals and businesses investing in our rural communities. Opportunity zones are areas that have historically lacked investment, and we want to change that.

The bill was authored by Del. Adam Burkhammer, and he is joined by Del. Erica Moore and Del. David Cannon.

PROTECTING YOUR WALLET: House Republicans passed the Ratepayer Protection Act, HB4012, which ensures that costly projects that benefit other states cannot cause a rise in your utility bills.

Delegate Daniel Linville authored the bill and is joined by fellow sponsors Del. Marty Gearheart and Del. Ray Canterbury.

West Virginia's universities, such as Marshall and Fairmont State, have some of the best aerospace programs in the country, which is helping our growing aerospace industry in West Virginia thrive. To keep up with that growth and take full advantage of it, House Republicans introduced the Airport Infrastructure Act of 2026.

READY FOR TAKEOFF: The West Virginia House of Delegates has passed the Aerospace Growth Act, which establishes the Aerospace Industry Development Program. This new program from the Department of Commerce will be dedicated to our rapidly growing aerospace industry, which is thriving especially because of the stellar aerospace programs at our public universities, such as Marshall and Fairmont State.
