This evening we trained with the crew from ALERT out of Kalispell. It was a good refresher as we are right on the line for either helicopter to respond to help out.
We also went over some basic patient loading exercises tonight.
Stay tuned for an exciting update to be released in a few days.

🔥For 9 days the CMVFD had a truck and crew on the Deer Creek Fire.
This truck has been built as a wildland truck from our fundraiser money and grants. It was nice to get it out on a fire this year. The radio, pump/engine, hose, and hose reel were all purchased through DNRC grants.
We still have a little work to do on the truck but it worked very well on this fire. 🔥
Thanks to our crew for being able to get away and work on this fire: Dylan (9 days), Keith (7 days) and Mark (2 days)!
