Dear Community, listen… yesterday’s impact becomes tomorrow’s responsibility.

This summer, Operation 412NC had the privilege of serving 25 children through our Back-to-School initiative. Backpacks, clothing, shoes, personal-care essentials, haircuts and hairstyles helped children begin the school year with something every child deserves: confidence and dignity.

Now, as September comes to an end, we’re carrying that same love into a new season.

🧄 Grace in the Cold is coming.

Our next goal is to help provide winter essentials for approximately 50 children experiencing homelessness or living in shelters, hotels, transitional housing, cars, and other non-traditional housing situations throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

25 children served. Now we’re believing our community can help us reach 50.

Will you be part of the next testimony?

We aren’t simply preparing children for colder weather. We’re reminding families that their community sees them, values them, and hasn’t forgotten them.

Today’s Operation 412NC Post | Faithful Friday — Grace in the Cold šŸ’™šŸ§„

Dear Community, listen… faith doesn’t only respond to the need we can see. Faith prepares for the need that is coming.

October is here, and while the coldest days haven’t arrived yet, Operation 412NC is preparing now through Grace in the Cold.

Our goal is to help provide winter essentials for approximately 50 children experiencing homelessness or living in shelters, hotels, transitional housing, cars, and other non-traditional housing throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

Today, we’re looking for Grace Givers willing to help us prepare:

🧄 Warm coats
🄾 Boots
🧤 Gloves
🧢 Hats

And our care extends beyond the children. As resources allow, we also want to provide blankets, comforters, Mylar blankets, and hand warmers to help our unsheltered neighbors face colder nights.

SPONSOR A MOM šŸ’œ | Massages for Moms

Dear Community, listen… Who takes care of Mom when she’s busy taking care of everyone else?

Through Operation 412NC’s Massages for Moms, we’re creating a moment for mothers experiencing homelessness or living in non-traditional housing to rest, recharge, and be seen.

A one-hour massage can cost approximately $87—and with gratuity, about $100. That means your sponsorship can make an immediate difference:

šŸ’œ $100 | Sponsor 1 Mom
šŸ’œ $200 | Sponsor 2 Moms
šŸ’œ $500 | Sponsor 5 Moms
šŸ’œ $1,000 | Sponsor 10 Moms

We’re inviting businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals to become community partners.

This isn’t simply about a massage. It’s about reminding a mother who carries so much: someone cares about you, too.

Invest in her today. Impact generations tomorrow.

Dear Community, listen… a mission may begin with a vision, but it moves forward because people decide to put their hands to the work.

Today, Operation 412NC simply wants to say THANK YOU.

To every volunteer who gives their time, every business that opens its doors, every community partner who shares resources, every donor who gives, and every person who shares one of our posts—you are helping us serve families with dignity.

As we transition from our Back-to-School season into preparations for Grace in the Cold, we’re reminded that community impact is never accomplished alone.

Our next goal is to help provide 50 children experiencing homelessness or living in non-traditional housing with winter coats, hats, gloves, and boots.

And once again, we need our community.

Maybe you cannot do everything—but you can do something.

šŸ’™ Sponsor a child.
šŸ’™ Become a community or corporate partner.
šŸ’™ Volunteer your time or talents.
šŸ’™ Make a donation.
šŸ’™ Share our mission with someone who can help.

Your ā€œyesā€ could be the reason someone knows they have not been forgotten.

Today’s Operation 412NC Post | Wonderful Wednesday — Donor Education šŸ’™

Dear Community, listen… generosity is powerful, but intentional generosity can meet a need before it becomes a crisis.

As we prepare for Grace in the Cold, Operation 412NC is asking our community to think ahead.

A winter coat purchased in September can mean a child is already prepared when the first truly cold morning arrives. A pair of boots can mean warm, dry feet on the way to school. A blanket or hand warmer can provide much-needed protection for someone experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

Our goal is to help provide 50 children experiencing homelessness or living in non-traditional housing with:

🧄 Winter coats
🧤 Hats & gloves
🄾 Winter boots

We’re also collecting blankets, Mylar blankets, hand warmers, hats, and gloves for our unsheltered neighbors.

Don’t wait for the temperature to drop to make a difference. Help us prepare now.

Today’s Operation 412NC Post | Testimony Tuesday — From Backpacks to Warm Coats šŸ’™

Dear Community, listen… the school supplies may have been distributed, but our commitment to these children didn’t end when the backpacks went home.

This summer, Operation 412NC’s Back-to-School Initiative served 25 children experiencing homelessness or living in non-traditional housing. They received more than supplies—they experienced a community coming together to say, ā€œWe see you, and you matter.ā€

Now, as summer gives way to fall, we’re carrying that same commitment into Grace in the Cold.

Our next goal: help provide 50 children with winter coats, hats, gloves, and boots.

Yesterday’s backpack can become tomorrow’s warm coat when a community decides to keep showing up.

Will you help us double the impact?
