Saving the CMPL Main Library Lights

I got to see my beloved city from a special viewpoint today.

We’re getting closer! I was fortunate to see these from a unique vantage point today.

This dedication obelisk is also going to be attempted to be saved and relocated.

I don’t know how but if anyone has a solution to help save at least one of these from the Main Public Library here in Charlotte, please say so before the are lost to the demolition. We have less than 3 weeks.



The chandeliers in the Great Room were designed by Middleton McMillan Architects and custom fabricated. They were installed for the 1988 renovation/expansion of the Main library.
