A pioneer, celebrated architect, public servant and cultural leader, his legacy lives through the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.

As we continue to step into the new year, we want to start by thanking Terik Tidwell for his leadership as board chair. His guidance, time and service helped move FFBP forward and we are grateful.

With that, we’re excited to welcome our newest board chair, Patrice Withers. Patrice is the Vice President of Giving at Fifth Third Bank and a recent Who’s Who in Black Charlotte honoree. Deeply committed to equity, Patrice invests in the communities that need it most. We’re honored to continue the legacy together.

Help us celebrate: Drop a note of thanks for Terik Tidwell, and share your congratulations with Patrice Withers

Philanthropy begins with intention. The Asbury Scholarship Fund is a powerful example. Siblings turned gratitude into opportunity, creating a legacy that continues to open doors for Concord students.

Traditions matter. They connect us to the values that shaped us and remind us of the communities that lifted us up. Planned giving allows you to carry those traditions forward or create new ones rooted in your own story.

Whether through scholarships, community programs, or other gifts, every act of giving makes you a philanthropist. Your generosity today becomes someone’s opportunity tomorrow.

Join us in strengthening Black philanthropy. Give to Foundation For Black Philanthropy and help ensure generosity, joy and community continue for generations.
