After a long and respected career with CFD and Station 4. We wanted to show our appreciation to Chris Bixler and the many shifts he spent Uptown. Chris was a Fireman on E4 for 9 years. He then promoted to Engineer, making his way back to Station 4 in November of 2014 where he spent the last 11 years of his career as Engine 4’s driver on C Shift. Engine 4 and Ladder 4 operated at a high angle rescue early this morning when a parachutist was found hanging from a tangled parachute against the Mint Museum Tower over 100 feet in the air. The patient was rescued safely with no injuries.
